Disaster

Today there had been another aftershocks in Christchurch.. Which makes all of us think, "Is this ever gonna end?" Disaster after disaster.. the world really is angry at how human treats them.

NZ also had some travel disruptions because of the Chile's volcanic ash.. 

I guess we have to look at what's important in our life and go for it !

After all the hoo haa about travel to Hongkong, we finally decided to cancel the August trip. I really need to go out of NZ.. haven't had a holiday for a year.. this is something that I really look forward to.. but anyway, hopefully there will be another specials coming up and I can finally go.

Sent email to Grabone last night.. we bought 5 tickets to the Waipa Delta, and the business had gone bust.. so I want my money back.. they have a really good customer service.. someone replied to my email at about 8.30 this morning and said that they are looking after it.. hopefully I will get my money back soon.

See? disaster after disaster..

Again though, I wanna thank God for making me enjoyed my work again. Everybody has up and downs I guess.. So while I'm at the top of the wheel, I'm gonna enjoy it !

Anyway, he visited me in my dream again.. I really do miss him so much.. It's really sad that we can't even be friends ! Looks like we are not meant to be together I guess.. nothing seems to go our way. I do hope that I can find someone who can make me forget and make me stop comparing everybody for him.. very cliche, but it's actually true !

Back to reality

Nothing much happened lately, had the long weekend.. Thanks to the Queen for her birthday..
Curry night at Regi's, went to Takapuna Market on Sunday.. Visited Lisa's friend's penthouse apartment.. View and the apartment itself was stunning, someday, maybe someday I will own a nice house with black and white furnitures, a grand piano and a millon dollar seaview !

Then we had Vietnamese steamboat buffet, I was full until the next day..
Stayed in town on Sunday Night and we self-learnt some French vocabulary.. Thank goodness foe youtube.. It was a really fun and relaxing weekend

Then back to reality on Tuesday.
Everything has been running smoothly and I truly thank God for that..

Last day of Autumn

Still can't believe how time flies.. I have worked in this job for almost 5 months..
Stacey just told me today that she finally resigned from work.. To be perfectly honest, the environment was not fun anymore.. Well, in the last couple of years really.. Anyway, I think she made the right decision.. Good on ya Stace!

It's only Tuesday but felt like I have done a week's worth of work..
Learnt something new today, so exciting.. Finally managed to do something else, doing just Payroll can be boring sometimes.. I have to be thankful that I do have a job. It's a tough world out there for jobseekers at the moment.. So I am just happy that I work with great people, LOVE my team!

I'm listening to Adele's song, not quite know what the title is, but it really speaks what I feel at the moment.. Thought I've gotten over him and have moved on, haven't thought about him for a while until he 'showed' up again in my dream.. As always! Everytime I'm thinking of making a huge change in my life, i.e. to apply for NZ citizenship, it always happens.. Seems like it's a sign for me not to do it.. But since he doesn't give a damn about me, I should just do it.. So, I have finally made up my mind to go with it.. If everything works out fine, I will put the application through this week..

Gotta go to bed, payday again tomorrow..

Hangover

No, the title is not exactly for me. I have to use the vouchers that I bought from Grabone. This is the last weekend that I can use them, so went and watched Hangover Part 2... Although I knew part of the stories but I still laughed so hard.. Movie was hillarious ! Love the casts, they are naturally funny.. Rating 8/10

I'm having a 'Sunday' feeling at the moment, while listening to my favourite music, Incognito. Have to go back to reality tomorrow and deal with 2 days worth of work.. Hope there's not too many emails. Nitey nite my online diary

Newbie

A blog... Finally managed to find time to create one. 

Usually shared my life story through twitter, but with the limitation of 120 characters, I need something more :)

So here I am typing away my first blog ever. Hopefully my life is interesting enough to read. Just got back from a work conference in Bay of Islands, 4 hours away from Auckland. Just what we needed, time off work! Haven't had a holiday since I started with this job 5 months ago. Me and Phyllis (my work mate) had been longing for one, so it's like a little 'break' for both of us.

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip. The conference itself might be a bit boring at times, but the people and the activities are something that look forward to.

In a few more hours, and back to reality, back to work. Have been finding that work is getting more and more boring every day, or more appropriately, my life in general.

I need more in life. Have been browsing on living in France or Italy for a week, and that's where I found some interesting expats blogs, I guess this is what made me started this whole new experience :)
